UHL (Universal Hydraulics Limited) was formed in 1975 as a UK based design and
manufacturing company, involved in the manufacture, supply and design of hydraulic
power packs and machinery. As well as hydraulic power packs, other products include
cylinders, cartridge type and diverter valves, plus tyre handlers and piston pumps.
Other products include special purpose machine and application design, which utilise
the stock components wherever possible, for guaranteed quality. Situated near
Chesterfield, our company location affords easy access with the M1 motorway and
nearby arterial roads. Regular rail services link Chesterfield with London, St.
Pancras on the Midland Main Line, with the station a taxi ride away from our premises.
A major part of our business involves the stocking and distributing quality hydraulic
components, from our partners overseas. Our range of standard hydraulic power
packs is one of the largest available nationwide. Our availability is second to
none, as all our components are ex-stock. With multiple CAD stations and ISO9002
certification, we are able to offer the complete professional solution. We are
also the sole UK and Republic of Ireland distributors of MEGA 700/1500 BAR high-pressure
products range. When you need to move, lift, lower, bend, spread, press, locate,
measure or tension, the MEGA product range offers high quality tools at minimal
cost for your job. UHL will make sure your item is delivered quickly and correctly
